Neoprene Sponge Cord

Neoprene sponge cord is available ex-stock in sizes ranging from 2.5mm dia to 25mm dia.

Other sizes, polymers and even co-extrusions are available but usually involve minimum order quantities starting at thousands for smaller dias to hundreds of metres for the larger ones.

Also you are not just limited to cords as almost any profile shape can be produced.

• 4 extruded sponge polymers
• Densities from 0.35g/cm3 to 0.65g/cm3
• No tooling charges for cords
• Coiled or cut to length
• Can be glued or vulcanized joined

Profiles and cords can also be joined into rings, frames or formed seals with either glued or vulcanized joins. [Please note most tooling is free but there are tooling charges applicable for vulcanized joined and formed products]

Choose from over 1500 profile dies ranging from basic squares and cords to more complex weather sealing strips and glazing channels.

• 10 extruded polymers
• Hardness from 30°Sh to 90°Sh
• Five extrusion processes
• Inexpensive tooling
• Over 3700 profile tools with 30 new shapes every month
• Coiled, straight or cut to length

All cords are supplied in straight lengths or coils and can be subsequently cut to shorter lengths too.

No minimum lengths
